I just about forgot that I had these two done ... FINALLY. *ANGST* (If you remember the robot nurse in Universe Crush... this is what she really looks like. I never did finish that version of her character sheet... or get Zenith done. XD )

Also: I apologize if there's rambling... it's almost 1:30 in the morning... I just want to get the idea down and the image posted.

Andromeda and Zenith were created in the bowels of Hell on a dare.

Yep.

You heard me.

A dare.

While Tetsuneko and her crew were being introduced to the Hell Council by Junsui, Hephaestus and the other forge gods asked where they'd come from. Not wanting to blow their newly acquired cover, Jun said that she'd helped Namida build them.

Sensing b.s. ... because Junsui had never built anything more complicated than a crossbow (it goes against her principles to make guns and complex machinery. She deals in weapons that are sharp and heavy. Anybody can get a gun, but how many people can get a custom-made double handed magical bastard swords that weighs next to nothing but does enough damage to make a berserker blush? ... That's what I thought.) Hep challenged the weaponsmith to build another robot. He figured that if she could build an automaton as complex as the trio, there was nothing stopping her from doing it again.

Junsui hastily agreed and headed down to her forge, trying to come up with something all the way there.

Tetsu tried to get Junsui to listen to an idea she had, but the catbot was continually shot down until she accessed Jun's computer, wrote programming and a design for two 'bots and shoved them under the cardinal warrior's nose, with the logic that Hephaestus had never said anything about who would design or actually assemble the automatons, just that Junsui had to build all the parts herself. Tetsu 'voluntold' Switchblade (who had medic experience and knew all the parts that made up the average 'bot inside out) to help Armageddon draft the shells while she wrote the programming.

Within hours the pair was completed, and while Junsui went to a) brag, and b) argue with Hephaestus about the terms of the challenge, Tetsu drafted a proposal to the Hell Council as to what should be done with the newly minted robots - create a new branch in Supernatural Control to silently monitor the skies for signs of the bounty hunters that were chasing the trio so they could continue to exist undetected while Andromeda and Zenith (Junsui let Tetsu pick their names as the catbot gave them 'life'.) worked to contact their homeworld.

The pair now lives on a station in Earth's orbit, trying to discreetly contact Tetsuneko's planet to get them home while they monitor the Earth and the heavens for the Hell Council.

True, they're a little lonely up there, but it's not like they have nothing to do.

After all, working for Supernatural Control keeps them good and busy. ^_^

Note: Andromeda and Zenith cannot transform. They were never given the mechanisms or programming to do so. Not that they mind... they don't have much room on the station to really make use of it.

Also - Andromeda is a non-combatant ambassador for the planet, and as such needs no armour or weapons (hence the kimono - it was Jun's idea) - she knows enough about Earth cultures that she should never end up in a situation that would call for it. Zenith, meanwhile, acts as her bodyguard and is trained as such, both defensively and offensively, as well as having thick enough armour to protect both of them if needs be.
